Acoustics

Patterned after some great Kalamazoo made guitars of the early ’30s, our Lil Chicago incorporates a small body with the woody melodic tone just right for finger picking or layin down some blues. Like all KGC guitars, the Lil Chicago is available in a variety of tone woods, including curly maple, Koa and mahogany. 24.5″ scale; 1.75″ at nut; Body depth is 3.375″ to 4″.

Baritone Uke

Patterned after our Lil Chicago guitar, our baritone ukulele is available in four or six string models. Ukuleles are available in walnut, mahogany and maple. Finish is lacquer or hand rubbed oil. Baritone is 17″ scale; 1.5″ at nut.

Electrics

Finished in our own Desert Sand, this light weight guitar of classic California design features vintage style pickups, Hip Shot bridge and gold anodized pickgaurd with ivoriod style knobs. The body is very old, light weight clear pine from a limited supply. Necks are availabe in walnut, Cocobolo or rosewood with old style clay dot markers. Necks are finished in lacquer or hand rubbed oil. So, where ever you live, surfs up!

Pickups

Our Classic humbucking is a low wind pickup made with 42 gauge plain enamel magnet wire, nickel silver base plate, Butyrate bobbins, A4/A5 magnet and is available with or without covers. We use only nickel silver covers available in chrome, nickel or gold plate.
